We were one of the first clients that Simmi took up, and we absolutely loved her work and would highly recommend her. Doing interiors for the home can go in two ways - one in which there is a client-service provider model and another in which it’s a true partnership end to end. With Simmi, it was always the latter. She treated our house as her own house, and ensured that everything she recommends or builds is something she will do in her own home. She was with us right since the beginning of the journey - from designing to selecting material to making store visits to inspecting progress of work to resolving blockers - she did everything. Her designer Shruti did an outstanding job with coming up with the designs and renders and customizing them as per our requirements - we loved her work. We didn’t have much knowledge on type of materials, fitments, pricing and quality of interiors and Simmi helped us understand all that. She never went for the cheapest or the most expensive option, but rather advised us on what is the right thing to do for each decision. She helped us distinguish between where a high priced material will matter versus where it will not. She has a great sense of design and an intuitive notion of what will look good - and we trusted her judgment and input. Simmi and team were very patient with us all throughout the process even when they did not agree with our viewpoint or when we were being a bit too stubborn on a particular point. Lights is Simmi’s speciality and she has done an outstanding job in making the house look truly stunning.
Simmi delivered the work on time with a good quality. She personally inspected the progress almost every day, and we were very comfortable with her execution and didn’t need to review it very frequently. In spite of some personal challenges she faced for some weeks, Simmi was always committed and ensured that she was available and committed to our work. She was very approachable and helpful post delivery of the house, and helped us fix all the minor issues which pop up post the move-in. Her husband Harpreet is her partner, and he was also available and advising us on making the right decision with respect to materials, designs etc. This is our first house and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome - we love our interiors and we loved working with them. Over a period of time, Simmi and Harpreet almost became like our family and we absolutely love them. Was Simmi the cheapest to work with? NO. Was Simmi a very expensive interior decorator? NO. She gave us the right value for our money and ensured that we smile every time we enter our house. And that’s what you really want :). Highly recommend.
